Water Tower Sessions:
VLNTYN

We’re excited to shed a spotlight with you today on Milwaukee, Wisconsin based rock band VLYNTYN, via their entry for our Water Tower Sessions series. It features band leader Jorge Vallentine performing a solo version of the band’s song “Swimming in the Sun.” You can find our exploration of the band’s single “Swimming in the Sun” here.

Vallentine self-filmed the session in his home basement, saying, “it felt like the perfect setting for controlling the environment and getting the desired atmosphere.” He filmed the entire video as one single shot on his iPhone and used editing to bring it to life via CapCut. P60 Lighting was provided by the band’s friends at FotoDiox.

“I’m happy with how it turned out and what I learned creating it for future video work,” he says.
