Singles Spotlight:
White Ash –
“Round We Go”

Hello reader,

How are you today?

Today, we’re excited to discuss another musical group from the UK who is making some great music: White Ash. Not to be confused with a Japanese based band of the same name that was most popular in the 2010s. Since 2023, the Liverpool based indie folk/rock quartet consisting of Sophie (drums), Chris (bass guitar), Adam (keyboards), and Ethan (guitar, vocals) have been playing together. I think that it’s always nice to check in with the lovely Liverpool music scene that consistently has some great bands you haven’t heard of…yet.

I was introduced to White Ash a few weeks ago via press release, which featured the single you’ll soon hear below. I was hooked from the opening guitar lick, followed by the keys, then Ethan’s vocals. Mesmerizing. It’s a great adventure of a song and easily one to add to a playlist or two of yours. I knew I had to share this song, “Round We Go” with the SWT as part of our Singles Spotlight series, so that’s why we’re all here today. As far as I can tell the band hasn’t released an album yet so this is their first single! And it seems like a solid debut to release into the world. Give the song some love and support the band via their socials below if you dig it. I hope that more singles are to follow!
